Greetings Knight! I hope everyone is doing well.
I would like to use this opportunity and talk about the current MMR and Elo system. As everyone know, this is the first ever full blown season and we are listening carefully and monitoring the situation.
We have deployed some changes to the the system based on your feedback.
What do we want to achieve?
⚔️Wining should be incentivised and being a top player should be rewarded. This said , putting time and effort should also be rewarded properly. A player who puts a lot of time and games should be ranked properly aswell.
⚔️Losing should be punished properly to avoid intentional losing to manipulate MMR ratings. However the punishment should not let a honourable knight be discouraged to play at all.
What you will see:
You will see higher trophy changes overall from now on as we implemented base calculation beside the MMR calculation. There may be some UI issues at the start which we are working to fix asap.
We also have added trophy loss to the bronze league.
We will continue monitor this matter and keep everyone in loop. I apologies for any inconveniences. I want to assure you that our PVP season and it’s integrity is our highest priority.
